Omar Shendy

Omar Shendy (b. 1999, Cairo) began piano at 15 and started formal training at the Faculty of Music Education in 2016. He later studied at the Cairo Conservatory and is now pursuing classical piano at ArtEZ Conservatorium with Frank van de Laar. He has taken masterclasses with renowned pianists and performed across the Netherlands. Omar has received certificates from institutions in Egypt, Hungary, and Italy, and participated in the Augsten Aponte Competition (2022). His repertoire spans Bach to Bartók.
